Since I was diagnosed with a hypothyroid condition called Hashimoto’s disease in 2011, I have a necessity to lose weight and forsake gluten, sugar and processed foods to regulate my thyroid gland. After the initial frustration and the tiredness from eating just plain greens, I resolved to seek healthier recipes to help people in my condition. And I learned to work out. As I’m adventurous by personality, I love doing anything that challenges both mind and body. Yoga, pilates and classes like Body Balance help me most with that, but I still enjoy classes like Body Combat, Zumba and mostly anything to do with dance. Hop on board with me as I explore different workouts and push my body to better health! Share your stories with me and accept only self love and body positivity. And mostly, close your eyes and chant ‘Ooooooooom’. <3
